Born and raised in the southeast, Patrice
Michelle has been a fan of romance novels since she was thirteen
years old. While she reads many types of books, Patrice says romance
novels will always be her mainstay because the idea of a
happy-ever-after always draws her in. As for becoming a writer,
Patrice admits she didn't have a master plan. She attempted her
first novel while she was in college and though she didn't finish
that book, the entire process of conceiving the idea, the hours of
research time in the library, and the many, many days in front of
the computer awoke in her a love for writing that has never
diminished and is stronger today than ever. The tone of her novels
